Welcome home to clothesline, New Zealand’s designer t.shirt store. Launched in October 2007 as the first completely NZ designed t.shirt gallery, featuring a huge range of mens, womens and childrens t.shirts, with designs from classic kiwiana through to cutting edge streetwear.

After 3 years of organising the ‘if 6 was 9’ t.shirt exhibition at Disrupt Gallery in Auckland, Josh King decided it was the right time to launch a permanent space in celebration of the huge wealth of local talent, and to create a fantastic and easy t.shirt buying experience both in-store and online.

With designers who have created for Workshop, Traffick, ABC, Karen Walker, Cleatis Preston and more, Josh has managed to create an ever evolving t.shirt gallery, featuring tees that appeal to both locals and tourists, and the creatively inspired.

Each year clothesline is home to t.shirt and art exhibitions, and now features contemporary jewellery and beautiful NZ design products. We currently stock over 20 labels in-store, including Federation, Cleatis Preston, Misery, Component, Traffick, Mr Vintage, Kool, King Design, Love Before Glory and ABC.
